Auxilium Pharmaceuticals’ XIAFLEX drives revenues following launch in US
In a trading update, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AUXL) told investors that its newly launched treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture, XIAFLEX, has generated revenues of $3.1m in the second quarter. The company also highlighted it continues to sign-up new physicians and sites, since it launched the product earlier this year.
“Having completed the first full quarter of the launch of XIAFLEX, the first approved, non-surgical treatment for the treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture, we believe that we are making good progress on our launch objectives as we work to change the treatment paradigm for this disease”,
